Schloss Heuchlingen is a historic castle complex located near Bad Friedrichshall in Baden-Württemberg.

Originally built as a medieval fortress in the 12th century and first documented in 1222, it was later owned and expanded by the Teutonic Order, which made it an important administrative center for the surrounding area. The castle was damaged during both the Städtekrieg of 1449 and the German Peasants’ War of 1525, but it was rebuilt in the Renaissance style from 1530 onward.

In the late 18th century, further renovations gave the complex much of its present Baroque appearance. Today, Schloss Heuchlingen is a well-preserved landmark featuring a main residence, tower, courtyard, defensive walls, and historic farm buildings. Although it primarily serves as an agricultural estate, it remains one of the most impressive historic sites in the Bad Friedrichshall region and offers a strong sense of the area’s medieval and early modern heritage.
