Schloss Hohenaltheim
Hohenaltheim, Germany, Germany
Schloss Hohenaltheim is a historic palace in Hohenaltheim, Bavaria, Germany. The site has medieval origins, but the present Baroque complex was largely rebuilt in 1710 and 1711 under Prince Albrecht Ernst II of Oettingen-Wallerstein, replacing an older castle. The estate includes the main palace along with auxiliary buildings such as princely residences, an orangery, a riding hall, and landscaped grounds. Its elegant architecture reflects the wealth and influence of the Oettingen-Wallerstein family, who used it as a noble residence.
