Kleinheubach, Germany, Germany
Schloss Kleinheubach, also known as Schloss Löwenstein, is a magnificent Late Baroque palace in Kleinheubach, Bavaria, and the historic residence of the Princes of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. It was built between 1721 and 1732 for Prince Dominik Marquard of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort, based on designs by architect Louis Remy de la Fosse, and is considered one of the most important Baroque palaces in southern Germany. The palace is surrounded by a large English-style park along the Main River and features ornate halls, a chapel, and several later additions, including service buildings and a riding hall. Its elegant architecture and spacious layout reflect the wealth and prestige of the princely family. Today, the palace remains in the ownership of the Löwenstein family. Part of the complex serves as a conference and event venue, while the estate is also known for its historic winery and beautiful parkland, making it a prominent cultural landmark in the region.
