Schloss Kreuth is a historic castle estate located near Heideck in Bavaria, Germany. Its origins date back to 1570, when the Nuremberg nobleman Bernhard Nützel von Sündersbühl received permission to establish an estate on the site. Over the following centuries, the property developed into a noble residence and manor complex. The present castle features Baroque and later architectural elements, including a two-story manor house with a mansard roof, a historic gate tower, and surrounding farm buildings arranged around a courtyard. In the late 19th century, the estate was expanded by the princely House of Oettingen-Spielberg, which used it as a family residence. Today, Schloss Kreuth combines its historic character with modern hospitality. Parts of the estate operate as a hotel and equestrian center, offering visitors the chance to experience the region’s cultural heritage in a peaceful countryside setting.
