Schloss Lierheim is a historic castle in the village of Lierheim, part of Möttingen in Bavaria, Germany. Its origins date back to the 12th century as the seat of the Lords of Lierheim, and parts of the original medieval castle are still incorporated into the foundations of the present building. Over the centuries, the castle was rebuilt, expanded, and modified several times. It was owned by various noble families, the city of Nördlingen, and later the Teutonic Order, which carried out major renovations and extensions in the 18th century. Today, Schloss Lierheim is a privately owned three-story castle surrounded by a historic ring wall with watchtowers and defensive features. Carefully restored in modern times, it remains one of the most notable historic landmarks in the Donau-Ries region.
