Schloss Markt Wald is a historic Fugger castle in the town of Markt Wald in Bavaria’s Unterallgäu region.

The estate has been associated with the Fugger-Babenhausen family since 1660, although the site’s origins date back to an earlier castle that existed by the 16th century and was rebuilt several times after wars and destruction. The present palace was largely constructed and redesigned in 1747–1748 by master builder Michael Stiller.

Its distinctive appearance includes a three-story structure with two round corner towers, a central stair tower, and decorative iron stag antlers atop the tower roofs. Over the years, the building served as an administrative center and later as the princely Fugger forestry office. Today, Schloss Markt Wald remains a prominent landmark and private residence, valued for its connection to the influential Fugger family and its well-preserved historic architecture.
