Schloss Oberkirchberg
Illerkirchberg, Germany, Germany
Schloss Oberkirchberg is a large former aristocratic residence in Oberkirchberg, a district of Illerkirchberg in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, set on a hill above the Iller valley.
The present building was created for the Fugger family in the 18th century after an earlier castle on the site was partly damaged by a landslide in 1589. It is still privately owned and used as a family residence, so it is not generally open to the public, but it remains one of the most important historic landmarks in the area.
