Schloss Obersontheim is a historic Renaissance castle in Obersontheim, Baden-Württemberg, that once served as the residence of the noble Schenken von Limpurg family.

After selling their ancestral castle of Limpurg in the 16th century, the family established a new seat in Obersontheim, with major construction beginning in the 1540s and continuing through the late 1500s. The castle became the political and social center of the local lordship and remained closely linked to the Schenken von Limpurg until their male line ended in 1713.

Over the following centuries, the complex passed through different owners and was later used for social care purposes, including as a nursing home. Today, Schloss Obersontheim is the town’s most prominent landmark. Its impressive wings, towers, and courtyards reflect centuries of regional history, and parts of the restored complex are used for accommodation and events, making it an important cultural attraction in the Hohenlohe region.
