Schloss Presteneck is a Renaissance-era moated castle located in Stein am Kocher, a district of Neuenstadt am Kocher in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Built between 1579 and 1581 on the site of an older medieval fortress, it became the residence of the noble von Gemmingen family, who acquired the estate in the 16th century. The castle played an important role in local history and suffered damage during the Thirty Years’ War due to military conflicts involving its owners.

Despite these hardships, the estate remained in the hands of the von Gemmingen family for centuries before eventually declining and later passing to new owners. Surrounded by a water-filled moat and historic outbuildings, Schloss Presteneck is considered one of the region’s notable Renaissance castles. Extensive restoration work in the late 20th century preserved the complex, which is now used for residential and office purposes while retaining its historical character.
