Schloss Sacrow is a historic palace in the Sacrow district of Potsdam, originally built in 1773 as a Baroque manor house on the site of an older estate.

Its roots go back to a medieval manor first mentioned in the 14th century, and over time it was owned by several noble and prominent families. The palace gained particular importance in 1840 when King Frederick William IV of Prussia acquired the estate. He commissioned landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné to redesign the surrounding park and integrated the property into Potsdam’s celebrated royal landscape, alongside the nearby Church of the Savior (Heilandskirche).

Today, Schloss Sacrow is part of the UNESCO-listed Potsdam cultural landscape and is valued for its historic architecture, scenic parkland, and lakeside setting. The palace is mainly open for exhibitions and special events, offering visitors a glimpse into Prussian history and landscape design.
