Schloss Tannhausen is a historic country castle located in the village of Tannhausen in Baden-Württemberg, near the edge of the Nördlinger Ries.

The estate has long been associated with the noble Freiherren von und zu Thannhausen family, whose roots in the area date back to at least the 12th century and who still maintain their ancestral seat there today. The castle has been rebuilt and altered several times after suffering damage from wars and fires over the centuries.

Its present appearance largely reflects 18th-century construction, with further major renovations and the addition of distinctive round towers carried out in the early 20th century. Today, Schloss Tannhausen is regarded as one of the village’s most important landmarks. Surrounded by historic outbuildings and park-like grounds, it represents the long history of the Thannhausen noble family and contributes significantly to the cultural heritage and character of the region.
