Röls of Kaisheim Abbey, giving it the Baroque appearance seen today. The castle is a stately two-story building with distinctive gables, an arched central entrance, and an attached chapel dedicated to St. Ottilia. Over the centuries, it passed through the hands of various noble and religious owners before becoming private property. Today, Schloss Tapfheim remains privately owned and is not generally open to the public. It is regarded as an important architectural and historical landmark that reflects the region’s aristocratic and ecclesiastical heritage.
