Storkow Castle is one of the oldest castles in Brandenburg, Germany, with origins dating back to the mid-12th century and its first documented mention in 1209. Built on the site of an earlier Slavic fortification, it played an important role as a defensive stronghold and administrative center throughout the Middle Ages. Over more than 800 years, the castle served various noble families, became a residence of the Bishops of Lebus, and later came under Brandenburg rule.
