Surasani Yanam Beach, also known as KOCO Beach or “Andhra Goa,” is an untouched, serene beach located in the village of Surasaniyanam in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, Andhra Pradesh, on the Bay of Bengal coast.

It features a long, continuous stretch of fine golden sand and gently deepening waters that don’t require water shoes, making it easy to access for visitors. The beach remains largely undeveloped with no eateries, restrooms, or other services, offering a pure natural experience ideal for peaceful relaxation with family and friends. It’s less crowded than urban beaches, popular for its clean sands, picturesque views, and gentle winds, though swimming is considered dangerous due to strong currents and pollution concerns.

The area enjoys warm weather year-round, with air temperatures ranging from about 27.8°C in January to 34.3°C in May, and water temperatures between 25.8°C and 30.7°C, allowing comfortable beach visits throughout the year. The nearest settlement is just 1.8 km away, and the beach is easily reachable by car or taxi without a long walk.
