It's renowned for its 18th-century classical palace complex, originally built by the Taczanowski noble family—who owned the estate since the 14th century—and expanded around 1853 by Count Alfons Felicjan Taczanowski in Berlin neoclassical style, featuring a landscape park, Gothic Revival outbuildings, a family chapel, and a distinctive neogothic entrance tower with the family coat of arms.
