The Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, is a soaring symbol of American ambition and westward expansion. Standing 630 feet tall, it is the tallest arch in the world and the tallest accessible structure in Missouri. Designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen and completed in 1965, the stainless steel monument forms a perfect catenary curve, embodying both elegance and engineering prowess.

Nicknamed the “Gateway to the West,” the Arch commemorates Thomas Jefferson’s vision and the pioneers who shaped the American frontier. Visitors can ride a unique tram system to the top for sweeping views of the Mississippi River and downtown St. Louis. Beneath the Arch lies the Museum at the Gateway Arch, which explores the city’s role in U.S. history through interactive exhibits and immersive storytelling.

Set within Gateway Arch National Park, the site also includes the historic Old Courthouse and 91 acres of landscaped grounds perfect for strolling, picnicking, or riverboat cruising.
