Trebah Garden
England, United Kingdom
Trebah Garden is a 26‑acre sub‑tropical ravine garden in Cornwall, England, set in a sheltered valley above the Helford River near Falmouth.
Created in the 1830s–1840s by the Fox family and later restored by the Hibbert family, it is now managed by the Trebah Garden Trust as an independent charity. The garden features winding paths through lush plantings of rhododendrons, magnolias, camellias, towering tree ferns, giant gunnera, bamboos, and palms, descending to its own small secluded beach on the river.
It is open year‑round, widely regarded as one of the best gardens in the British Isles, and offers a restaurant, shops, and a tropical‑style atmosphere moderated by Cornwall’s mild coastal climate.
