Trerice, near Newquay in Cornwall, UK, is a charming Elizabethan manor house built around 1572 by Sir John Arundell V on the site of an earlier tower house, serving as the ancestral seat of the powerful Arundell family for over 400 years until it passed through various hands and was acquired by the National Trust in 1953.

The Grade I listed building boasts exquisite features like a great hall with 16th-century stained glass panels, ornate plasterwork ceilings, and a Tudor bed, surrounded by peaceful gardens including a traditional orchard with heritage apple varieties.
