Unteres Schloss, also known as Altes Schloss, is a historic Renaissance manor house in Alfdorf, Baden-Württemberg.
Built around 1550 by the Lords of Neuhausen, it served as both a noble residence and administrative center and remains one of the town’s most important historic buildings. The castle is distinguished by its three-story stone structure, stepped gables, towers, and enclosed courtyard. In the 17th century, it came into the possession of the von Holtz family.
Today, Unteres Schloss is a privately owned cultural landmark. Together with its surrounding buildings and park, it reflects the region’s noble heritage and offers a glimpse into the architectural style and local history of southern Germany during the Renaissance period.
