Waldenburg is the ruin of a medieval hilltop castle located high above the Enz River on the left ridge at the entrance to the town of Neuenbürg in the Enzkreis district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, near Pforzheim.

The castle's history remains largely mysterious and undocumented, as archaeological excavations and research have been unable to solve the puzzle surrounding the ruins, with no written records, documents, or historical evidence providing information about its origins. Based on the remaining ruins, the castle consisted of a fortification, a palas (residential building), a chapel, and several utility rooms.

Some pottery finds indicate connections to the Upper Rhine region and the Swabian Alb, and in 1887 a bronze "dragon candlestick" was discovered at the site, which is now housed in the Landesmuseum Württemberg in Stuttgart. The ruin sits on a very high ridge overlooking the Enz valley and the town of Neuenbürg, and it remains an enigmatic historical site that continues to intrigue visitors and researchers alike.
