Wasserschloss Neuhaus is a historic moated castle in the village of Neuhaus, part of Adelsdorf in Bavaria. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, with some parts of the structure tracing their roots to the 11th to 13th centuries. The estate later came into the possession of the von Crailsheim family, who transformed it into a Renaissance-style four-wing castle between 1612 and 1618. Surrounded by ponds that were historically used for carp farming, the castle is one of the most picturesque landmarks in the Aischgrund region. Despite periods of decline, including plundering by French troops in 1796 and a major fire that destroyed the outer buildings in 1902, the main castle was carefully restored in the early 20th century.
