---

The WeltKunstMuseum im Schloss Altrandsberg is housed in Schloss Altrandsberg, a striking four-wing castle dating from the 16th and 17th centuries in the village of Altrandsberg near Miltach.

The museum offers visitors a journey through world art and cultural history, combining the historic setting of the castle with a unique educational collection. Rather than displaying original artifacts, the museum presents high-quality reproductions of famous works from museums around the world.

Its exhibits cover a wide range of periods and cultures, from the Stone Age, ancient Egypt, and the Celts to the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque eras. The museum is designed as an accessible introduction to global art history, allowing visitors to see detailed replicas of renowned cultural treasures in one location. The combination of historical architecture and internationally inspired exhibits makes it a distinctive cultural attraction in the Bavarian Forest region.
