First recorded in historical documents as Weworka in 1415, with variants like Wyeworka by 1419 and in Jan Długosz's annals, it was populated in the 16th century by Tatar captives from Hetman Jan Tarnowski's 1531 victory at Obertyń.
The site features a noble defensive manor house and a parish with deep local roots, reflecting typical rural Polish heritage amid agricultural lands.
