Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library in Delaware is a premier museum of American decorative arts founded by Henry Francis du Pont on his family estate.

The museum occupies a grand 175-room mansion filled with nearly 90,000 objects dating from 1640 to 1860, including fine furniture, ceramics, paintings, textiles, and metalwork that showcase America's artistic and cultural heritage. The collection is displayed in period rooms and galleries that reflect the style and history of early America. The estate also features 1,000 acres of grounds, including a renowned 60-acre naturalistic garden that represents du Pont’s horticultural expertise.
