Yellowstone National Park is a sprawling natural wonder that stretches across three states, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, with the vast majority of its 2.2 million acres nestled in Wyoming. Established in 1872, it holds the distinction of being the first national park in the United States and is widely considered the first of its kind in the world.
