Castle Líšno
Bystřice, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Castle Líšno in Bystřice, Czechia, began as a 14th-century Gothic castle built after 1367, likely by Beneš of Dubá, on a protected site among marshes.
It was later damaged in conflicts, then rebuilt in late Gothic and Renaissance styles, and finally transformed in the 1870s–1880s into a romantic neo-style château by industrialist Vincent Daněk. After years of neglect, it has been undergoing renewed restoration in recent years and remains an important historic landmark in the Bystřice area.
