Dvorac Drašković generally refers to one of the historic castles owned by the influential Drašković family, one of Croatia’s most prominent noble families.

The family played a major role in Croatian political, military, and cultural life for centuries and owned several important estates and castles throughout the country. The castle most closely associated with the family is Trakošćan Castle, a medieval fortress in northern Croatia that dates back to the 13th century. Acquired by the Drašković family in the 16th century.

It was later transformed from a defensive stronghold into an elegant noble residence surrounded by a landscaped park and lake. Today, the castle is one of Croatia’s best-preserved and most visited historic landmarks, admired for its picturesque architecture, rich history, and museum collections that showcase the heritage of the Drašković family and Croatian nobility.
