Florida Park, better known locally as Parque de La Florida, is a historic urban park in the centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava, created in 1820 and inspired by Romantic French garden designs.

Its almost labyrinth-like paths weave through grottos, a waterfall, a small stream, a bandstand, themed corners such as a “secret water garden,” and numerous statues, giving the impression of a much larger landscape within a compact area.

The park has a rich botanical character, with around 250 plant species and a signed route that highlights notable trees like a fern-leaved beech, sequoia, ginkgo, and the “tree of love,” making it function partly as a small botanical garden. 

It also serves as a cultural and social hub, hosting concerts at the central bandstand, Christmas nativity displays with life-size figures, and offering shaded walks, seating areas, and nearby cafés that make it a popular place for leisurely strolls and relaxation for both residents and visitors.
