Kaštieľ Krasňany is a late Renaissance mansion in Krasňany near Žilina, Slovakia, consisting of two originally separate 17th-century chateaus linked by an 18th-century ground-floor wing. The older structure was built between 1667 and 1678 on the site of a burned late Gothic manor by the noble Pongrácz family, featuring a U-shaped plan with corner towers and a drawbridge portal, while the newer L-shaped addition at century's end included three circular corner towers. Owned by the Pongrácz counts for centuries as their family seat until post-World War II nationalization, it underwent major renovations in 1898-1912 with a chapel addition and again in 1967-1980 for preservation, before returning via restitution in 1995 and later purchase by an Italian entrepreneur in 2004.
