Leontýnský Zámek
Roztoky, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Leontýnský zámek, also called Leontýn, is a small historic château near Roztoky in the Křivoklát area of Czechia, set on the edge of the Křivoklátské forest.
It began as a classicist hunting lodge built in 1820 for the Fürstenberg family, was later remodeled in the mid-19th century for Leontýna z Khevenhülleru, and was then expanded in the late 1800s in a romantic neo-Gothic style.
Today the site is protected as a cultural monument and includes the main château, a nearby chapel of St. Wenceslas, and a landscaped park. It is known more for its layered history and scenic setting than for being a large public palace.
