Museo de la Revolución, located in Perquín in the Morazán Department of El Salvador, is a history museum dedicated to preserving the memory of the Salvadoran Civil War, which lasted from 1979 to 1992.

Founded by former guerrilla fighters, it honors the people who participated in and were affected by the conflict while documenting a pivotal period in the nation’s history. The museum features photographs, weapons, personal belongings, documents, and exhibits about Radio Venceremos, the guerrilla movement’s radio station.

Many tours are led by former combatants who share firsthand accounts, giving visitors a deeper understanding of the war and its impact on Salvadoran society. Today, Museo de la Revolución is one of the most important historical attractions in eastern El Salvador, offering an educational and thought-provoking look at the country’s recent past and the struggle for peace and reconciliation.
