Palmetum is a 12‑hectare botanical garden in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, built on an artificial hill by the sea on the site of a former landfill and devoted almost entirely to palms.

Developed mainly between the mid‑1990s and its opening to the public in 2014, it has the richest palm collection in Europe, with around 500–600 palm species and thousands of individual palms, many from tropical and subtropical islands, arranged in geographic zones such as the Caribbean, Madagascar, South America and Polynesia among waterfalls, streams and ponds.

The garden is managed with low‑input, environmentally friendly practices and also includes other tropical plants to recreate natural habitats, plus viewpoints over the Atlantic and the city, making it both a conservation-focused botanical collection and a scenic, tranquil park easily reached from central Santa Cruz.
