Park Koloděje
Prague, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Park Koloděje is a historic landscaped park surrounding Koloděje Castle in the eastern part of Prague.
The park is closely connected to the château’s long history and features mature trees, open lawns, ponds, and walking paths that create a peaceful setting away from the busy city center. The castle and its grounds were shaped over several centuries, particularly during Baroque and later renovations, when the estate was transformed into an elegant aristocratic residence with ornamental gardens and parkland.
Today, the park is valued as a green historical area and an important part of Koloděje’s heritage. Together with the castle and nearby game preserve, it offers visitors a pleasant place for relaxation while preserving the character of one of Prague’s oldest former village estates.
