Torre Vigía de Calaburras, near Mijas on Spain's Costa del Sol, is a 16th-century coastal watchtower built in 1574-1575 under orders from Francisco de Córdoba, Captain General of Granada, to defend against Barbary pirate raids from North Africa.

Also known as Torre de Calburra or Burras, this slightly conical masonry structure rises 13.4 meters with a 21-vara base, featuring machicolations for defense, reinforcements by 1767 to mount two 4-pound cannons, and visibility to linked towers like Calahonda for smoke or fire signals.

Positioned on a headland above the modern Calaburras Lighthouse in El Faro estate, it served through the 19th century as a carabinero post against smuggling before recent restorations preserved it as a Cultural Interest monument amid urban development.
