Zřícenina Čejchanův hrádek
Chocerady, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Čejchanův hrádek near Chocerady is a small medieval castle ruin in Central Bohemia, standing on a promontory above the Sázava River. It was likely built in the 13th century, first mentioned in 1318, and later came under the rule of Čejchan of Hrádek, whose name it carries today. The castle was destroyed in 1404 and never rebuilt, so only faint remains such as earthworks, ditches, and a few wall fragments survive. It is now a quiet historic site in a wooded natural setting close to Komorní Hrádek, and it is protected as a cultural monument.
