Zřícenina Hradu Rechenburk
Trutnov, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Rechenburk is a ruined medieval castle near Libeč in Trutnov, Czechia.
It was built in the second half of the 13th century by the lords of Švábenice as a fortified strongpoint during the colonization of the area, and it soon lost importance after they left the region. Today, little masonry survives, but the earthworks, ditches, and foundations are still visible on the site, which makes it an interesting stop for history and landscape lovers.
