Zřícenina Včelní Hrádek is the remains of a small estate near Jílové u Prahy, above the meeting of the Chotouňský potok and the Sázava River.
The site began as a medieval fortified farm and later became a small castle, then in the 18th century it was rebuilt as a modest chateau; after long decline, it was finally demolished in the late 20th century. Today it survives only as overgrown ruins hidden in the woods, a short walk from Jílové u Prahy station. It is an interesting stop for people who enjoy quiet, lesser-known historical places tied to the region’s gold-mining past.
