The Area Archeologica di Vetulonia Poggiarello Renzetti is an important archaeological site near the village of Vetulonia in Tuscany, preserving part of an ancient Etruscan and later Roman settlement.

Excavations revealed a well-preserved residential district dating mainly from the 3rd to 1st centuries BC, including paved streets, houses, workshops, storage areas, and sophisticated water-management systems. A central feature of the site is the ancient paved road known as the Via Decumana, lined with homes and commercial buildings.

Notable discoveries include the Domus di Medea, named after decorative terracottas depicting the myth of Medea, and the Domus dei Dolia, a large house containing storage jars used for food supplies. The site forms part of the wider archaeological park of Vetulonia, one of the most significant Etruscan centers in ancient Italy. It offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into everyday life, urban planning, and the prosperity of a community that once controlled important trade routes and nearby metal resources.
