Attre Castle in Brugelette, Belgium, was built in 1752 by Count François Philippe Franeau d'Hyon van Gomegnies on the site of an older medieval castle that had belonged to the family since 1520.

The castle showcases Louis XV style architecture with sober, well-proportioned facades made of local sandstone, limestone rock, and bricks. It is surrounded by a 17-hectare listed park that combines English and woodland gardens, featuring attractions like a belvedere tower, dovecote, hermitage, Swiss chalet, and an artificial pre-romantic cave called "The rock."

The castle and its extensive grounds reflect the elegance and noble heritage of 18th-century Belgium and remain a key cultural and historical landmark in the region.
