The Baron Empain Palace, located in Heliopolis, a suburb of Cairo, Egypt, is a unique mansion built between 1907 and 1911 for the Belgian industrialist Édouard Empain.

The palace is famous for its distinctive architecture inspired by Hindu temples, particularly Angkor Wat in Cambodia and temples of Orissa in India, blending Hindu, Moorish, and neoclassical European styles. Designed by the French architect Alexandre Marcel, the building features intricate carvings of monkeys, elephants, lions, snakes, and Hindu deities like Buddha, Shiva, and Krishna.

It was constructed using reinforced concrete, a luxurious and innovative material at the time, and includes elaborate interiors with marble work, stained glass, and ornate wood carvings. The palace was part of Empain's vision to create the upscale suburb of Heliopolis.
