Bois-Et-Borsu
Belgium , Belgium
Bois-et-Borsu is a district in the municipality of Clavier, located in the Liège province of Wallonia, Belgium. It was originally two separate settlements, Bois and Borsu, merged in 1808. Bois centers around the Church of Saint Lambert, founded in 911, which contains notable Romanesque architecture and 15th-century murals. The village also features a fortified farm from the 13th century.
Borsu’s village church has foundations from the 12th century but is largely a late 18th-century structure, expanded in the early 20th century. The area reflects a rich historical heritage combining medieval religious and rural architecture, preserving glimpses of its long-standing settlement history.
