Borgo e Castello di Monteleone is a small, well-preserved medieval village in the hills of the Forlì-Cesena province, known for its panoramic views and historic atmosphere.

The settlement developed around its hilltop castle, which dates back to at least the 13th century and was strategically positioned to oversee the surrounding countryside. Over the centuries, the castle was controlled by powerful families including the Malatesta and underwent various modifications, but it has retained much of its medieval character.

The village itself is compact, with stone buildings, ancient gateways, and narrow streets that reflect its origins as a fortified settlement. Monteleone is also associated with the poet Lord Byron, who is said to have visited the castle during the time of the Guiccioli family.
