Burg Neuhaus is a castle in Upper Austria, built in the 12th century above the Danube River. Originally used as a hunting seat by the bishops of Passau, it was transformed into a fortress in the 14th century by the house of Schaunberg.

The castle extends around 300 meters in length and offers visitors a glimpse into medieval times, although it is privately owned and not open for interior tours. The architecture reflects its dual role as both a noble residence and defensive stronghold, combining medieval charm with a commanding position overlooking the surrounding landscape. While access inside the castle is restricted, visitors can walk around the expansive grounds to experience the historic ambiance and scenic views.

The current owners have maintained the property, preserving its historical significance as an important landmark in the region.
