Castello Rocchette Pannocchieschi was an important medieval mining fortress located near Massa Marittima in southern Tuscany.

Built before the 12th century and associated with the noble Pannocchieschi family, the fortified settlement occupied a strategic hilltop position overlooking valuable deposits of copper, lead, and silver, making it a key center for mining and local power. The site included a castle, defensive walls, a village, and a church dedicated to Saint Andrew.

Its prosperity was closely tied to the exploitation of nearby mineral resources, which played a significant role in the economy of the region during the Middle Ages. The settlement was abandoned before 1443 and gradually fell into ruin. Modern archaeological excavations carried out between the 1990s and early 2000s uncovered and studied many of its remains, revealing valuable insights into medieval mining communities and castle life in Tuscany.
