Castle Janković is a grand Baroque castle located in the center of Daruvar, Croatia.

Built between 1771 and 1777 by Count Antun Janković, it played a key role in the development of the town, which was named after the Janković family title “de Daruvar.” The castle is considered one of the most valuable Baroque buildings in the region. Designed in a distinctive U-shape, the castle originally served as a noble residence with numerous salons and reception rooms.

It is surrounded by a historic park that features Croatia’s oldest and largest Ginkgo biloba tree, a protected natural landmark. Today, Castle Janković houses cultural and museum exhibitions that explore the history of Daruvar and the Janković family. Together with its landscaped park and architectural heritage, it remains one of the city’s most important historical and cultural attractions.
