Castle Pejačević
Našice, Croatia, Croatia
Castle Pejačević is a grand 19th-century castle located in the town of Našice in eastern Croatia.
Built in 1811–1812 for the noble Pejačević family, it was later expanded and transformed into an elegant Neo-Baroque residence surrounded by a large landscaped park. The castle is closely associated with the influential Pejačević family, especially the renowned Croatian composer Dora Pejačević, who lived there during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Over the years, the building served various purposes, but it has remained an important symbol of the town’s cultural heritage. Today, Castle Pejačević houses the Regional Museum of Našice along with cultural institutions and exhibition spaces. Its historic architecture, museum collections, and beautiful park make it one of the most significant landmarks in the Slavonia region.
