Castle Ten Torre in Beernem, Belgium, dates back to 1353 and is a moated castle with corner towers, originally built as a hunting pavilion.
The current structure was rebuilt in 1845 on the foundations of the older pavilion by Hector, Baron Lebailly de Tilleghem. Around 1895, it underwent restoration inspired by the architect Viollet-le-Duc, which included constructing a new roof, an entrance porch with a loggia, and converting a corner tower into a watchtower.
The castle is surrounded by a park and extended ponds, nestled in the green countryside near Bruges.
It served historically as a private residence and today hosts special events, blending its medieval heritage with modern leisure and cultural activities. The castle offers tranquil gardens, nearby walking and cycling routes, and is within easy reach of Bruges and other regional attractions.
