The Cathedral Notre-Dame of Luxembourg, located in the heart of Luxembourg City, is a stunning example of late Gothic architecture with Renaissance and Baroque elements.

Originally built as a Jesuit church between 1613 and 1621, it features a majestic nave, colorful stained glass windows from the 19th and 20th centuries, and bronze portals created by the Luxembourg artist Auguste Trémont. The cathedral was initially a Jesuit church but became a parish church in 1778 and was elevated to cathedral status in 1870 when Luxembourg became a diocese.

Its architecture combines Gothic pointed arches with Renaissance and Baroque details, including two entrances with statues of the Virgin Mary and Saints Peter and Paul. The interior is illuminated by vibrant stained glass and houses important artworks and a crypt added during a 1930s expansion. The cathedral serves as a significant religious and cultural landmark representing Luxembourg's rich spiritual heritage.​
