Château de Septfontaines
Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Château de Septfontaines is a historic late 18th-century château located in the Rollingergrund district of Luxembourg City.
It was built in 1783–1784 by the Boch brothers, founders of the nearby porcelain factory that later became part of the renowned Villeroy & Boch company, and served as their family residence. The château is closely tied to Luxembourg’s industrial heritage, as it was developed alongside the porcelain works that helped make the Boch family famous.
Over the years, the building changed hands, was occupied by French troops at one point, and underwent extensive restoration in the late 20th century. Today, Château de Septfontaines is a protected historic monument and one of Luxembourg City’s notable architectural landmarks. Known for its elegant design and connection to the Villeroy & Boch legacy, it is used for events, conferences, and other professional functions.
