Subotica City Hall, located in the heart of Subotica in northern Serbia, is one of the country’s finest examples of Art Nouveau architecture.

Built between 1908 and 1912 and designed by architects Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab, the building serves as the administrative center of the city and is its most recognizable landmark. The structure is celebrated for its colorful façade, decorative ceramic details, stained-glass windows, ornate interiors, and distinctive tower that offers panoramic views of the city.

Designed in the Hungarian Secession style, a branch of Art Nouveau, it reflects the cultural and architectural heritage of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. Standing on the main square, Subotica City Hall is both a functioning government building and a major tourist attraction. It symbolizes the city’s multicultural history and is regarded as one of the most beautiful civic buildings in Serbia.
